Welcome to our list of the 7 Best Pretty Woman cover songs. It is a Rock and roll song written by Roy Orbison and Bill Dees and recorded by Orbison in 1964. The song tells of a man who yearns for the pretty woman he saw walking by. The song’s title was inspired by Orbison asking his wife if she had enough cash when she announced that she was going out. At that, Bill Dees commented that “a pretty woman never needs any money”. From there formed the Pretty Woman lyrics.

The song spent three weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It was the second single by Orbison that topped the US charts and the third to top the UK Singles Chart. The single was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) only months after the song’s release.

A Grammy Hall of Fame was awarded to the song and was named one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll in 1999.Also, the song was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry.

Pretty Woman Lyrics

Pretty woman, walking down the street!
Pretty woman, the kind I’d like to meet!
Pretty woman, I don’t believe you, you must be true
No one can look as good as youu

Mercy!! Pretty woman, won’t you pardon me??
Pretty woman, I couldn’t help but see Pretty woman
Oh you look lovely as you can be
Are you lonely just like me!!??? Ahhrrrr!

Pretty Woman Lyrics

Pretty Woman Cover

Pretty woman, stop awhile, Pretty woman, talk awhile, Pretty woman, give your smile to me

Pretty woman, yeah yeah yeah!!
Pretty woman, look my way!!
Pretty woman, say you’ll stay with me!Cause I need you,
I’ll treat you right!
Come with me baby

Be mine tonight! Pretty woman, don’t walk on by,
(Pretty woman)
don’t make me cry!!
Pretty woman
don’t walk away-yay.

Pretty Woman Lyrics

Okay.If that’s the way it must be, okay
I guess I’ll go on home, it’s late
There’ll be tomorrow night, but wait, what do I see?
Is she walking back to me?
Yeah she is walking back to me

Whoa, whoa, whoa pretty woman..
